Pedram Rahmatabadi is a guitar teacher and studio/session guitarist who has been playing/teaching in DC and North Carolina since 2008 — Projects he’s collaborated with include Dreamcast.MOE, Loi Loi, Deacon Izzy and the Congregation, FootsxColes, Jau Ocean, Suga Grits, Cpt Hyperdrive, Lola Villa, Ursidae, and Lee Anderson’s Radical Idea. He was also a guitar teacher/board member for Guitars Not Guns DC from 2012-2017, providing free access guitars and guitar lessons to underserved youth in the DC area. Pedram specializes in Funk, Neo-soul, RnB, Jazz, Rock, and Pop. Pedram has also coached youth wrestling for nearly 20 years, was a Division 1 athlete at NC State university, and speaks four languages - English, French, Spanish, and Farsi. Outside of teaching guitar, he works in crisis and security risk management for international organizations.
